Notes
Japanese hydrangea vine (Hydrangea fauriei) is a vine with white flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part to full shade and average moisture. The white blooms open in early to mid summer. It grows tall, so give it a sturdy support to climb. It also spreads wide, so leave it plenty of room.
Pairs well with Lady in Red lady fern, Twinleaf, and Northern sea oats.
Native range
Japan and Korea.
