Jawbone Flats iris

Notes

'Jawbone Flats' iris (Iris 'Jawbone Flats') is a perennial with fragrant purple flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. It blooms in early to late spring on tall stems, with ruffled amethyst standards above velvety purple falls. It is not a favorite of rabbits, though hungry rabbits will eat almost anything. Divide the clumps every two to three years just after blooming.

Pairs well with Cytherea peony, Little Beauty tulip, and Campfire rose.
