Notes

'Jin-Cheng-Nu-Lang' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Jin-Cheng-Nu-Lang') is a shrub for borders, cut flower use, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The upright plant grows over three feet tall and holds its red, rose-shaped flowers above the leaves. Each bloom is 7 inches across with purplish-black blotches at the base of the petals and some fragrance.

Pairs well with Juneberry, Pink Impression tulip, Ostrich fern, and Clematis.
