Notes
'Joe' clematis (Clematis cartmanii 'Joe') is an evergreen vine for trellises, containers, and fences. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun. White flowers with golden yellow centers cover it in early spring. The finely cut leaves stay green all year, and the vine does not cling, so you can tie it to a support. Taylors Clematis introduced it in 1983.
Pairs well with Jasmine, Snowdrop, and Fountain grass.
