Notes

'Avalanche' clematis (Clematis cartmanii 'Avalanche') is an evergreen vine for borders, low maintenance gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. White flowers open in early to late spring and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Robin White bred it.

Pairs well with Daffodil, Wax myrtle, and Snake's head.
