Notes
'Kasumi-no-mori' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Kasumi-no-mori') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows tall, so give it room at the back of a border. The pink blooms open in early summer and age to white. Cut them for bouquets when you want color indoors.
Pairs well with Clematis, Christmas fern, and Grape hyacinth.
