Notes

'Key West' hosta (Hosta 'Key West') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and spreads 48 to 72 inches, so give it room. Fragrant pale lavender flowers open in early to late summer and draw bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Woodland phlox, Sedge, and Phantom panicle hydrangea.
