Notes
'Kiev #8' #8 honeyberry (Lonicera caerulea 'Kiev #8') is a shrub for the food garden. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. White flowers open in early spring, and the shrub grows 36 to 48 inches tall and wide.
Pairs well with Red elderberry, Siberian squill, and Blush peony.
