Notes

'Kiss and Tell' carnation (Dianthus 'Kiss and Tell') is a perennial for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil of most types. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Its fragrant flowers appear in spring, summer, and autumn, and butterflies and bees visit them. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Catmint, Black Taffeta coral bells, and Blue fescue.
