Notes
'Krasavitsa Moskvy' lilac (Syringa vulgaris 'Krasavitsa Moskvy') is a shrub for specimen planting, hedges, cottage gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Double white flowers with a pink blush open in early to late spring. The blooms are fragrant and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees.
Pairs well with Cytherea peony, Picture tulip, David garden phlox, and Western sword fern.
