Notes

'Kronos' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Kronos') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant blue-violet flowers open from early to late spring and attract bees. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. I.V.T. bred it.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Pink Impression tulip, and Liberty hosta.
