Notes
'La Paz' amaryllis (Hippeastrum 'La Paz') is a bulb for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and is drought tolerant. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Blooms can appear in spring, summer, or winter.
Pairs well with Begonia, Lemongrass, Vermillionaire cuphea, and False shamrock.
