Notes

'Lady' lavender (Lavandula angustifolia 'Lady') is a perennial for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Burpee developed it, and you can grow it from seed. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Purple flowers attract bees and butterflies.

Pairs well with Creeping thyme, Blue fescue, and Black-eyed Susan.
