Notes

'Lancaster Imp' peony (Paeonia 'Lancaster Imp') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The fragrant, cream-white flowers have strong guard petals and many smooth buds. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Charles Klehm and Son Nursery introduced it in 1987.

Pairs well with Wide Brim hosta, Clustered bellflower, Black Hero tulip, and Phantom panicle hydrangea.
