'Lavender Girl' rhododendron (Rhododendron 'Lavender Girl') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, shade gardens, and woodland settings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It is evergreen and bears fragrant, soft lavender flowers in early to late spring. Hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms.
