Notes

'Lavenite Petite' lavender (Lavandula angustifolia 'Lavenite Petite') is an herb for borders, containers, rock gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The evergreen, fragrant foliage forms a broad mound up to 24 inches tall, and bees and butterflies visit the flowers in spring and summer. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Plants have good drought tolerance once settled.

Pairs well with Chocolate Ruffles coral bells, Sea holly, Frosted Curls sedge, and Felicia rose.
