Notes
'LeeP1' panicle hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'LeeP1') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, hedges, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows fast into an arching shape that reaches 60 to 72 inches tall and wide. White blooms open in early to late summer and attract bees.
Pairs well with Hosta, American cranberrybush, Western sword fern, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
