Notes
'Lemon Lime' hosta (Hosta 'Lemon Lime') is a perennial for borders, shade gardens, rock gardens, and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average moisture. It stays small, at 9 to 12 inches tall and 12 to 18 inches wide. Purple-striped flowers open from early to late summer and draw hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.
Pairs well with Woodland phlox, Western sword fern, and Thalia daffodil.
