Notes

'Lilac Beauty' iris (Iris 'Lilac Beauty') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. The flowers are shades of violet with a buttercup yellow blotch, and the outside has a broad greenish vein. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. You can enjoy blooms in spring and again in summer.

Pairs well with Japanese forest grass, Clary sage, and Casa Blanca lily.
