Notes

'Little Bobby' carnation (Dianthus 'Little Bobby') is a perennial for borders, containers, rock gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The fragrant, dark raspberry blooms have deeper central rings and attract butterflies and bees. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Nodding onion, Blonde Ambition blue grama, Pyrethrum, and Carlton daffodil.
