Notes

'Little Night' sage (Salvia sylvestris 'Little Night') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy soil. Dark violet blue flowers open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the fragrant blooms.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Heather, and Garlic chives.
