Notes

'Lovesick Blues' iris (Iris 'Lovesick Blues') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, and pathway edges. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. Its fragrant flowers have white standards edged in violet and bloom in early to late spring. Rabbits tend to nibble other plants first. Divide the clumps every two to three years just after blooming.

Pairs well with Blue grama, Picture tulip, and Catnip.
