Notes

'Lubecca' sage (Salvia nemorosa 'Lubecca') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy soil. It makes a clumping mound of violet-blue flowers that bloom in late spring, summer, and autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the fragrant blooms. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Garden phlox, Blue fescue, and Lily.
