Notes

'Lynn' bigleaf hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla 'Lynn') is a shrub for shade gardens, cut flowers, and foundation plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows fast and stays 24 to 36 inches tall and wide. Pink to blue flowers open from early to late summer and again in early autumn. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with First Frost hosta, Autumn fern, and Aureola Japanese forest grass.
