Notes
'Magic Happens' iris (Iris 'Magic Happens') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It blooms in spring and again in summer. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The fragrant flowers attract butterflies.
Pairs well with Columbine, Album nettle-leaved mullein, and Mount Hood daffodil.
