Notes

'Mango Popsicle' red-hot poker (Kniphofia 'Mango Popsicle') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Mango-orange flower spikes appear in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Hummingbird's mint, Fountain grass, and American agave.
