Notes

'Margaret Sutterby' peony (Paeonia 'Margaret Sutterby') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single pink flowers are fragrant and open early in the peony season. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Prof. Harald Fawkner bred it.

Pairs well with Sum and Substance hosta, Black Hero tulip, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Sensation lilac.
