Notes

'Millstream Daphne' moss phlox (Phlox subulata 'Millstream Daphne') is a perennial for rock gardens, ground cover, borders, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Clear pink flowers with a darker eye cover the low mat in early to late spring, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It handles drought and salt well.

Pairs well with Eastern columbine, Blanket flower, Bridal Crown daffodil, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
