Notes
'Mist Maiden' rhododendron (Rhododendron 'Mist Maiden') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, shade gardens, and woodland settings. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Pink flowers open from early to late spring. Hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the plant, and its evergreen leaves keep the shrub full all year.
Pairs well with Lady fern, Aureola Japanese forest grass, Solomon's seal, and Liberty hosta.
