Notes

'Mont Blanc' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Mont Blanc') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. White flowers with pale yellow anthers open in early to late spring and smell sweet. Bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Queen of Night tulip, Curly Fries hosta, and Blue fescue.
