Notes
Montezuma pine (Pinus montezumae) is an evergreen tree for specimen planting and large landscapes. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It can reach 70 to 100 feet tall and 30 to 40 feet wide, so give it plenty of room. It does not flower.
Pairs well with Leyland cypress, Hachiya persimmon, and Evergold sedge.
