Notes

'Morning Lilac' peony (Paeonia 'Morning Lilac') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The fragrant fuchsia flowers have white streaks and attract bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Roger F. Anderson bred it in 1999.

Pairs well with August Moon hosta, Clustered bellflower, and Western sword fern.
