Notes
'My Beautiful Diva' bigleaf hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla 'My Beautiful Diva') is a shrub for cut flowers, cottage gardens, shade gardens, and foundation planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The white-edged flowers look blue in acidic soil and pink in alkaline soil, and they bloom on old wood from early summer until frost. It sits low on the menu for deer. The plant stays compact, so it needs little pruning.
Pairs well with Aureola Japanese forest grass, Autumn fern, and Hornbeam.
