Notes

'My Castle' lupine (Lupinus polyphyllus 'My Castle') is a perennial for cut flowers, containers, and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Red, fragrant flowers open in spring and again in summer. Bumblebees pollinate it, and it hosts many butterfly larvae.

Pairs well with Alaska violet, Blue Arrow Rocky mountain juniper, and Buffalo grass.
