Notes

'Narcissiflorum' rhododendron (Rhododendron 'Narcissiflorum') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, shade gardens, and woodland settings. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The pale yellow double flowers are fragrant and attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It stays evergreen and grows 48 to 72 inches tall and wide.

Pairs well with Lady fern, Wide Brim hosta, Aureola Japanese forest grass, and Christmas fern.
