Notes

Needletip blue-eyed grass (Sisyrinchium mucronatum) is a perennial for rock gardens, meadows, borders, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It sends up blue to purple flowers in spring and again in summer. Birds visit the plant, and it also tolerates salt.

Pairs well with PowWow White coneflower, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Nodding onion.
