Notes
'Nevada' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Nevada') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant, pure white flowers open in early to late spring and draw bees. It is an early forcing bulb, so you can bring it into bloom indoors. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.
Pairs well with Black Parrot tulip, Stella de Oro daylily, and Kansas peony.
