Notes

'Niveum' bishop's hat (Epimedium youngianum 'Niveum') is a perennial for borders, ground cover, and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Clear white flowers open in spring and attract bees. It is also drought tolerant once settled. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Liverleaf, Western sword fern, Royal Star star magnolia, and Gladiator ornamental onion.
