Notes
'No.5 Hang Shiao' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'No.5 Hang Shiao') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Single, rose-pink flowers face upward and have a pleasant fragrance. The plant grows upright to about 24 inches, so it does not need support.
Pairs well with Incrediball hydrangea, Ostrich fern, Black Hero tulip, and Sedge.
