Notes

'Noonday' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Noonday') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large, deep rose pink flowers open in midseason and have a Japanese form. Kelway bred it, and the spreading plant bears numerous blooms.

Pairs well with Dancing Queen hosta, Rose, Ostrich fern, and Black Hero tulip.
