Notes

'Northern Hi-Lights' rhododendron (Rhododendron 'Northern Hi-Lights') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, shade gardens, and woodland settings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It bears fragrant white and yellow blooms in early to late spring. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. The evergreen leaves keep their look all year, and hummingbirds and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Bellwort, Western sword fern, Red trillium, and Autumn Brilliance juneberry.
