Notes

'Notcutt' European cranberrybush (Viburnum opulus 'Notcutt') is an arching shrub for hedges, borders, and wildlife gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows at a moderate pace and tolerates drought. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it, and it blooms in spring and again in summer. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Honeyberry, Shrub rose, Siberian squill, and Red fescue.
