Notes
'Ocean Delights' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Ocean Delights') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It has fragrant flowers that bloom from early to late spring and attract bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The clumping plants also tolerate dry spells.
Pairs well with Blue Mouse Ears hosta, Pink Impression tulip, and Blue fescue.
