Notes
'October' iris (Iris 'October') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. Bronze-yellow flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It grows 30 to 36 inches tall and tolerates drought.
Pairs well with China Town tulip, Incrediball Blush smooth hydrangea, and Zinderella Peach zinnia.
