Notes
'Oimatsu' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Oimatsu') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The large flowers open light pink in mid season and age to white. Many blooms are held well above the foliage, and the plant spreads to a medium size.
Pairs well with Fire Island hosta, Smooth hydrangea, Sedge, and Grape hyacinth.
