This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It blooms from early to late summer. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds all visit the flowers.
Pairs well with Fountain grass, Annabelle hydrangea, Casa Blanca lily, and Praying Hands hosta.
