Notes

'Orange Lace' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Orange Lace') is a perennial for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Myron D. Bigger bred it in 1966. The large light pink flowers appear in early summer and hold well as they age. Lacy orange stamenodes give the bloom its name.

Pairs well with Spotted dead nettle, Miss Kim lilac, Sedge, and Black Hero tulip.
