Notes

Oregon ash (Fraxinus latifolia) is a tree for rain gardens, meadows, and low maintenance landscapes. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It grows fast and has light green leaves that turn clear yellow in fall. Butterflies and birds visit it.

Pairs well with Douglas fir, Ponderosa pine, and Ostrich fern.
