Notes

'Palestrina' rhododendron (Rhododendron 'Palestrina') is an evergreen shrub for borders, specimen planting, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. White flowers with yellow green spots open in early to late spring. Hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Woodland phlox, Lady fern, and Aureola Japanese forest grass.
