Notes

'Papaveracea Stellata Flora Plena' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Papaveracea Stellata Flora Plena') is a shrub for borders and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its woody stems stay above ground through winter, so you only need to prune out dead wood in spring. Give it a spot where the blooms can be seen up close.

Pairs well with Flowering quince, Sedge, and Bloodroot.
